Chateau d'Yquem is the icon of sweet wines in the world, a sauternes known for its elegance, balance and richness of aromas.
Golden in appearance, the 1996 vintage delivers unique emotions to your palate: honey, white peach, barley sugar and spices toward the finish.
In the mouth, the hints are persistent and the nose is reminiscent of the scent of coconut and almond.
This masterpiece is the result of careful selection of sémillon and sauvignon blanc and aging for about 26-28 months in new barrels.
Pair with blue cheeses, foie gras or Christmas desserts.
