
Sbrisolada with Salvagno extra virgin olive oil
The Sbrisolada comes from the grand city of Mantova in Italy’s Lombardy region. This classic crumbly almond biscuit cake is usually eaten at the end of a meal, after dessert, and dipped in sweet wine or a spirit such as Grappa. Perbellini have added a personal touch to this classic delight with the addition of Salvagno extra virgin olive oil. As well as the intense flavour of toasted almonds, the perfume of the extra virgin olive oil comes through and adds a unique and delicate taste. Salvagno has been an important producer of olive oil since the beginning of the 19 century from their orchard in hills of Verona. This product can be consumed all year round.
